About MotionGility
MotionGility is building an AI-powered SaaS platform that automates explainer video production for SaaS/AI companies. We combine a Full AI tools stack into a single pipeline that takes a client’s product brief and delivers a complete explainer video — script, illustrations, voiceover, and animation — in under a few minutes. We have 11 years of agency experience producing 500+ SaaS explainer videos and we are now building the platform that does this at scale, with AI.
This is an early-stage product role. You will be the first full-time developer on the team, working directly with the founders

Position:  Motion Graphic Designer & Video Analyst

Key Responsibilities
Motion Design & Template Development
  • Build and maintain reusable video templates using Creatomate.
  • Create and manage Lottie animation libraries and motion assets.
  • Design dynamic templates supporting illustrations, voiceovers, brand elements, and animations.
  • Develop product UI showcase templates and visual storytelling sequences.
  • Continuously optimize templates based on quality reviews and client feedback.
AI Video Quality Analysis
  • Review AI-generated videos for visual consistency, animation quality, voice synchronization, and branding accuracy.
  • Identify quality gaps and recommend improvements to templates and workflows.
  • Maintain quality scoring systems and benchmark outputs against leading SaaS brands.
Process & Innovation
  • Document template structures and creative workflows.
  • Develop and maintain MotionGility’s AI video style guidelines.
  • Evaluate and experiment with emerging AI video and creative tools.

Motion Design: After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut
Video Automation: Creatomate, LottieFiles
Design: Figma
AI Tools: Runway Gen-3, Kling, Higgsfield, Recraft V3, Nano Banana, GPT Images

Requirements

Must-Have Skills
  • Minimum 1 year of professional motion graphics experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality analysis skills.
  • Understanding of SaaS explainer videos and product storytelling.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Creatomate or similar video automation platforms.
  • Experience creating Lottie animations.
  • Familiarity with AI-generated creative assets and quality evaluation.
  • Experience producing explainer or product demo videos.
